SEPTEMBER A Return to Italy
We last toured Italy in March 2022, so are overdue for a return to this most fascinating and diverse country. With 100s of indigenous grape varieties, wine regions literally cover the country from north to south and east to west giving an amazing choice of climates, soils and styles.
OCTOBER The Aromatics
The group of grape varieties known collectively as ‘The Aromatics’ do exactly what they say on the tin: they posses distinctive bouquets, often suggesting flowers and minerals, herbs and spices. We’ll taste six perfect examples, and not just white wines; reds too.
SEPTEMBER Island Life
Is there something special about wines made on Islands? From the Mediterranean to the Atlantic, and from Sicily to Tenerife, wines from island locations have a fascination, often betraying their maritime conditions with distinctive aromas and flavours all of their own.
